Bookkeeper with MYOB, Quickbooks experience Full Time

Go-Va provides clients based in Australia with offshore employees. We are managed operations, not a BPO. You will work in the Go-Va office in Cebu and have direct contact with your Australian company on a daily basis who will train you in their policies and procedures. Role:
  • We are looking for qualified accountants to analyse accounting data and to provide quantitative information of the business
  • Ideal candidate is a team player with initiative and dedication to the task at hand
  • This role will manage all accounting operation based on accounting principles
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial processing
  • Maintenance of reconciliations
  • BAS/IAS preparation
  • Workflow
  • Process and System Improvement
  • Adherence to internal policies/practice
Financial Processing:
  • Processing of client transactions as per each specific engagement (these may vary depending on client needs).
  • Proficiency with MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks (preferred) – including transactional processing, creating/modifying reports and system administrative tasks.
  • Preparation of BAS, IAS, PAYG
  • Maintain records of bank loans and equipment leases
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets in line with reporting deadlines.
  • Preparation of evidentiary workpapers, including attachment of files to transactions as necessary.
Maintenance of Reconciliations:
  • Preparation of month
Role Requirements:
  • Highly Desirable:
  • It is an advantage to any candidate who has:
  • Experience working for an Australian accounting practice
  • Certified Public Accountants or equivalent qualification
  • An understanding of Australian Taxation relating to payroll, GST and Superannuation
  • An understanding of Australian Taxation relating to classification and deductibility of expenses.
  • Experience in preparation of complying financial statements for Australian SMEs.
