Go-Va provides clients based mostly in Australia with offshore employees. We are a managed operations company, not a BPO. You will work in the Go-Va office in Cebu and have direct contact daily with your client’s company, who will train you in their policies and procedures. Go-Va management on-site is there to support you and we provide you with many benefits.

Engineering at WorldRemit:

• Investment in technology is the #1 priority for WorldRemit’s investors, board and senior leadership team. Headed by our CTO Russ Thornton, the technology team currently stands at 100+ across London, Krakow, Denver and Cebu. The team will grow to circa 140 this year and could well double in size again beyond 2018.
• We have built our cloud-native distributed platform which is hosted in Azure and AWS. Our teams follow a Build It, Support It model ensuring we drive high standards of quality and resilience.
• Our chosen web technology stack is React, Redux and Node.js. Our native iOS app is built with Swift and Kotlin has been introduced for our Android version. Our service platform is predominately builtu sing C#/.NET and we use a host of data technologies including SQL Server, DocDB, RedShift, Kafka & Hive. We leverage Office 365 and a myriad of other SaaS tools to deliver end-user productivity.

What you’ll be working on:

• Based in Cebu, reporting to our Corporate IT Manager in Cebu, you be involved in the expansion, operations, and R&D of our core internal infrastructure. This will be in main support of our
• Cebu office, initially supporting an end user base of 250 which is estimated to grow significantly in 2019, but also ensuring it works seamlessly across our global Corporate IT and Platform infrastructures.
• The core focus of the role will be on the virtualized server, networking and security components<br>in Cebu but also supporting other APAC satellite offices, as well as supporting global Corporate IT initiatives.
• This is a great opportunity for an Engineering expert to play a pivotal role in scaling a global FinTech<br>the organization in a vibrant, exciting, fast-growing business.

Your skill set:

• Deep experience in TCP/IP stacks applied to LAN/& WAN environments; across networking, firewalls, and security appliance technologies
• Windows Server 2016 administration skills with VMware and virtualization experience
• A solid understanding of Microsoft Azure and Azure Active Directory technologies
• Scripting (PowerShell) experience in automating sys-admin tasks
• Experience in configuring Cisco technologies and IOS (ASA firewall, Catalyst switches/stack)
• Exposure to security probes and concepts of environments hardening
• Ability to perform Office 365 administrative tasks
• Strong focus on infrastructure availability and redundancy
• Citrix virtualization skills a plus
