Go-Va provides clients based mostly in Australia with offshore employees. We are a managed operations company, not a BPO. You will work in the Go-Va office in Cebu and have direct contact daily with your client’s company, who will train you in their policies and procedures. Go-Va management on-site is there to support you and we provide you with many benefits.

The client is a well respected Australian residential building company requires an experienced Construction Estimator for one and two-story homes up to 250 squares. The successful candidate will be joining a busy Brisbane based estimating and scheduling team. This is a full-time role Monday to Friday 6:30 am – 3:30 pm. (Cebu Time)

Skills Required:

• University graduate in a building related Degree
• Demonstrated experience as a residential building estimator an advantage
• Experience in project and custom projects with the ability to think with innovation
• Competent with Microsoft office programs with extensive knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent English, written, spoken and comprehension
• Experience using “ Data Build” software will be highly regarded
• Experience in Australian standards will be highly regarded.
• The ability to read and understand architectural and engineering plans with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to read and interpret contract and specification documents
• The ability to work under pressure, with excellent time management and organizational skills

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Producing high quality quotation, tender and contract documentation for building projects, ensuring compliance with organisational and industry standards and client requirements.
• Assess and prepare accurate estimates and quotations of building projects, ensuring compliance with organisational procedures.
• Undertake research into estimating and costing.
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors to maximize service delivery and achieve business cost savings.
• Utilize computerized estimating systems.
