JOB DESCRIPTION

Go-VA provides clients based in Australia with offshore employees. We are a managed operations, not a BPO.You will work in the Go-VA office in Cebu and have direct contact with the Australian company on a daily basis who will train you in their policies and procedures. Go-VA management on site is there to support you and we provide you with many benefits.

Experience:

2-4 Years of Relevant experience
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • First and Second Line Support
  • Supporting all levels of IT infrastructure, from basic desktop support to troubleshooting complex company-wide issues
  • Help internal staff with accounting application (server and cloud based) related issues
  • Installation, Updates (Patching) and troubleshooting the applications and OS used in our organization
  • Managing service requests, incidents, and problems through a ticketing system.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications,
  • OperatingSystems(Desktop and Server)
  • Performing and maintaining asset inventory
  • Troubleshooting LAN based network as well VPN related issue at the desktop level.
  • Performing ad-hoc project activities
  • Reporting license usages, preparing hardware quotes and follow ups

Desired Profile

  • Two to four years of system administration experience or desktop/server support experience
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with global team in English is required
  • Should have good aptitude for troubleshooting desktop and server related issues
  • Should possess desktop and server support knowledge primarily related to Windows operating systems
  • Should have workable knowledge of Windows 2008/2012 Server Technologies
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently as well as in collaboration with a team
  • Knowledge of Citrix, VMware and Cloud technologies is an added advantage
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to self-motivate and work in a small-team environment
  • Microsoft Certifications – MCP / MCSA / MCSE (is a MUST HAVE)
